Last day of 2006

Hey people...
Today is the last day of 2006. Feeling kinda sad now. 2006 will soon become history, in about 8 and a half hours time. I am now feeling a little regretful for all the things I said that I want to do but didn't. =(((
Anyway, juz cleaned my room once again. This time, it is more of getting rid of all the dust. Due to my sensitive nose, I could not finish my job. Guess I will have to finish up tml. Call me lame if u want, but I strongly believe that getting rid of the dust means getting rid of the bad luck I had in 2006. If u don't believe, it's not my problem anyway. Haha.
And, I could not go out tonight even if I want to. Thus, I will be watching the countdown on tv at home. Though it's more boring, it's better than nothing. Lol.
So, a year review now. 2006. A year full of first times for me. First time I had a gf and first time I broke up.
2006 was not bad, considering I experienced quite a lot of stuff that I never experienced before. It is also the year that I vowed not to use that f-word. So far, I had been keeping up with it.
All happy things will come to an end regardless whether u want it or not. Next year, we are going to be split into different classes.
So now, my New Year resolutions! XD
In the coming year, I resolve to
1. Exercise at least 4 times a week
2. Continue not using the f-word and if possible, cut down on other vulgarities
3. Work hard in NPCC and become an NCO and a Staff Sergeant
4. Continue doing well in my studies
5. Not become a nerd despite being in a nerd class
6. Watch the movies I planned to watch
7. Polish up on my bball skills (I am very lousy)
8. Achieve all the above
Ok. The last one sounds very extra, but I couldn't care lah. Haha.
By the way, my new timetable came out. Going to be a busy year next year, I have afternoon lessons on all days except wednesdays and fridays. And, I still have trainings on fridays. So, my only free day of the week is wednesday. I think that this day is going to be taken up too by some other stuff. So, if anyone wants to ask me out, I think I can only be free on weekends... And, I bet weekends will be spent on homework. So, yea...
I had also been working on my hair these few days. The fringe still looks ugly cos I have curly hair. So, I had no choice but to push it back a little so it won't look like some snakes... LOL.
Lastly, let's all hope that next year is gonna be an even greater year! XD Jia you ar, everyone! Work hard and play hard during the hols!

Back-to-school shopping

Phew. Juz got back from Bugis. Went there with my mom and sis today. Actually, the purpose was to buy some clothes to replenish my wardrobe but I ended up not buying any. Instead, I bought some other stuff to get prepared for school.
Most importantly, I bought a new pencil case! XD I should had changed my old one long ago, but I can't find anything nice. Or should I say, I didn't really go and shop for one. But today, I saw one that I liked and it's the last piece already. Thus, I bought it. It is white in colour and cost about $10. Photobucket seems to be having problems today. Thus, I can't show u all a picture of it. Will try to upload asap.
Also, I bought a new sling bag that I am planning to use for daily schooling. It cost $28. As I was a bit tired already when I bought this bag, I decided not to haggle with the shopowner. And anyway, my other bags are more expensive. Again, I can't show u guys a pic of it...
Lastly, I also bought a new casing for my phone. As some of u had already known, there are some scratches on my phone. To prevent it from further being scratched, I long wanted to buy a casing for it. But, I don't want those type of transparent one. Saw one that has patterns on it and I kinda like it. Also, it is not that ex, only $6 after some bargaining. So, yea... I juz bought it loh. Haha.

Stupid earthquake

Grr... The earthquake at Taiwan is causing me so many problems. I had to refresh the page for countless of times before I can log in to Blogger. But this was expected lah. After all, the news report said today that though they shifted us to other cables, congestion was to be expected due to the high number of people sharing the same cable.
Anyway, I am juz going to blog about random stuff now cos I am feeling bored. Haha. Been seeing some people putting up "I hate taiwan earthquake" as their personal message. This set me thinking. Do they exactly know the meaning of "hate"?
According to my dictionary, the word "hate" refers to disliking somebody or something intensely, often in a way that evokes feelings of anger, hostility, or animosity. Thus, as we can see, it is a strong word.
That's why I seldom used that word. When I really did say "hate", it means I really dislike that someone or something a lot. Otherwise, I would prefer to use the word "dislike". So far, my hate list is small. U can see from my profile list.
This is the same with "love" and "like". If I say I love someone or something, I really mean it. On other times, I will juz use the word "like". Even for bball, I use the word "like".
Another random stuff. School is starting soon. Time flies, doesn't it? In a week's time, I will be starting on sec three. And soon later, it will be to sec four, where I can finally wear the other uniform. Fyi, I dislike my uniform now. I know I look weird in it. (Notice the word "dislike")

I am very very very very frustrated and angry now. So, I shall vent it all here.
Who do u think u are? U own the whole NPCC? Do u think u can choose whether u want to come for np activities? Tell u wad. If u are gonna have this attitude problem forever, I DON'T care. But juz bear this in mind. U are pulling everybody down with u, especially me cos I am the ic.
Can't u be a bit more enthu? It doesn't hurt, u know. U know what? U are the slackest of the whole squad. Yes, u are. Why don't u bother to turn up for np activities, juz like everyone else does? I had enough of u. If u have valid reasons for not coming, at least I will accept it. But these few times, u don't even have a reason. If u are going to be so slack, what I suggest to u is that u quit np. I refuse to have slackers in my squad. Scram off, boy.
And, juz want to tell u tt u are juz a selfish bastard, who don't even have the basic discipline to be in np. I am always getting into trouble cos of u.
For those people who think they can do a better job as ic, go ahead. I will give my position to u IMMEDIATELY. Yes, immediately. I don't want to suffer this kind of injustice again.

Phew. Juz got back. If I am any later, I think I will be caught in the rain. Lucky me. Haha.
Anyway, went to lot 1 with sheng jie today to do the CSSP project. We did, a little. XD But it is really hard with juz the 2 of us. We should have called the whole group together. See first ba. LOL.
After doing the project, we went to watch death note 2. Cos it is not officially released yet, it is a sneak preview. Thus, we have to pay an extra $1 for it. But, I am willing cos I am really excited to watch it. XD The movie didn't let me down. It was great. Simply great! =D The story line was quite different from the manga version though... Too bad there isn't a death note 3. Otherwise, it will be even better. Haha.
Ok. Two movies down my list. Now, I am left with Charlotte's Web. I think I will be watching on Friday.

Curse of the Golden Flower

Quite a nice day today. Except for the rain part though. Haha.
Anyway, let's start from the morning. When I woke up, it was raining really heavily, so I decided to pig a little more. Little did I know that by doing that, I slept for another hour. When I was finally fully awake, I realised that it was already 9am and I have to reach school by 10. Before I left, I tried using the computer to see if the internet is working. It turned out that it was working alright so I juz logged in to my inbox. Saw 12 new messages there. -_- I was like "wth?", but then realised that mostly is sent by jon neo and they are all the same message. I think his internet got prob too. Haha.
When I reached the bus stop, mr tan smsed me to tell me that due to the rain, I will only have to reach school at 11. Since I was already out of the house, I don't feel like going back again. Thus, when I reached school, I went to the bookshop. I was expecing a lot of people. But it turned out that there were juz a few people. Thus, I grabbed the chance to buy 2 new school uniform shirts. It cost me $34. I am so gonna claim back from my parents. I am nearly broke now.
When it was 11, I still didn't see mr tan. When I called him, he was still in boarding school. LOL. About 10 min later, he arrived and we went to his car. By "we", I mean mr tan and I ONLY. I was expecting more people to be there, but I guess everyone juz wants to slack. Up till now, I still don't know why I am obliged to go. Is it cos I am the squad ic? Or is it cos I am in logistics department? Haha.
It started raining heavily again when he started driving. To be fair, his car was not that bad lah. Though it is a Mazda, it was still quite comfortable. The journey there was still ok. There were some silent moments when I was trying very hard to think of what to say. But I think I sounded weird cos I am starting to lose voice due to my cough. Haha. Anyway, we reached HTA at about 1130 (HTA=Home Team Academy). I need a pass to get in, so I have to exchange my ez-link card for a pass. Wow. It has been so long since I last went HTA. A LOT of memories came back to me. I mean, both of my parades' trainings were held at HTA (PDP'06, SYFOC'06). Somehow, I felt proud when I stepped in...
Anyway, we went to purchase the NPCC uniform parts. The total sum came to $167.60. Haha. We looked like we had juz finished shopping for Christmas presents, carrying so many bags. So, we carried the stuff back to his car with some difficulty. It is not helping that it was still raining.
He offered to give me a lift home, but I told him to drop me at lot 1 instead. And, lot 1 was quite near HTA. I wanted to watch Charlotte's Web, but the timing is not good. So, I watched curse of the golden flower. U guys might think I am weird, watching at lot 1. But, since I was alone, I might as well watch at somewhere near. Besides, it has been a long time since I watched any movie at lot 1. Haha.
So, Curse of the Golden Flower. It was quite a nice movie. The visual effects are really good, especially the part where the two armies fought each other. Also, it was more realistic than any other chinese history movie. However, there are several flaws though. Firstly, as u guys had known, the newspapers said that the movie was too "sexy". I didn't believe it at first. But now, I agree with it. The *cough cough* twin peaks of each woman kept distracting me from the plot. And, I don't think I am the only one affected by it. There was a group of girls sitting behind me. They kept saying things like "Eeww..." whenever the movie became too "sexy". U will see what I mean if u watch the movie. Secondly, the whole set up was filled with bright colours such as gold. My eyes hurt after some time. And lastly, some parts are really disgusting. I shall not say here.
But nevertheless, it is worth the watch. The ending was a little tragic though... I nearly cried. Haha. Anyway, the ending song is called "ju2 hua1 tai2"" sung by none other than Jay Chou himself. XD That was the main reason why I stayed till the credits are finished. The song is really nice.

Thursday is coming soon. It is sec 1 orientation. And I need to help out in NPCC by doing drill and all that stuff. Gotta prepare my uniform again...

Been coughing really badly these few days. But I don't think I will go see the doctor though. It is too troublesome.
Anyway, so far, I only recieved a few orders from certain people. Those people who still want to order but haven't told me, pls note that today is the last day. After today, I will not take any more orders. d=
Going to go on a movie marathon next week. 3 movies to watch. Haha. Gonna spend so much money again. =( How I wished I was the owner of all the cinemas in Singapore, so that I can go anywhere to watch whatever I want for free. XD

Anyway, so far, I only recieved a few orders from certain people. Those people who still want to order but haven't told me, pls note that today is the last day. After today, I will not take any more orders. d=
Going to go on a movie marathon next week. 3 movies to watch. Haha. Gonna spend so much money again. =( How I wished I was the owner of all the cinemas in Singapore, so that I can go anywhere to watch whatever I want for free. XD
Ok. I saw many people putting up lists of what they want to finish doing befroe the holidays end. So, I might as well put up one too.
List of things to do
1. Clear up my room (this includes my table and wardrobe)
2. Finish watching the 3 movies (anyone wanna watch with me? Pls?)
3. Get a new pencil case (nobody is giving me. So, I have to buy it myself.=(((((((( )
4. Collect some stuff from someone
5. Transfer the pictures from my Beijing trip to this computer (i keep pushing it off)
6. Find out the problem with my internet

Ok. I was juz lucky that the internet is working now. But I don't dare to stay too long. Later I may be disconnected again. So, I might as well quickly finish up this post.
To be fair the BBQ thing was ok lah. I ate quite a lot cos there was really too much food. In the end, we gave a plate full of satays to another family BBQ-ing nearby. However, there was nothing much to do. I mean, I don't talk to my cousins and they don't talk to me too. At first, there was still some interaction cos my uncle was asking me about some stuff about HCI. This is cos his son, which is one of my cousin, is going to HCI next year. After that, I was left alone again. Felt very bored. =(
And, I had a bad hair day today. )= My fringe is really really really screwed up. No matter how much wax I put, it still looks very ugly. I guess I should have a hair cut soon so that I can ask the hairdresser what I can do about it...

Before I start this post, juz want to let u all know that my internet connection these few days had been very weird. Sometimes it can work while other times, it can't. So, if u don't see me online for quite a few days, it means that my internet connection can't work. U can sms me or call me though. Haha.
Ok. Went for marshalling duty for the sec 1 registration today. Helped quite a lot of people to find their way around. LOL. But one bad point about today is that I had to stand from 0730 to1030. 3 hours stoning there, in full uniform, which made me sweat quite a lot. Another thing is that it is freaking early. I had to wake up at 0530 today. Nevertheless, we are gonna receive CIP hours for this. XD
Juz happen to see Tancw's EMB message. I was quite shocked when I saw my rank and name there. But it turned out to be that he want me to collate the orders of the squad for spare uniform parts. Those who don't know what I am talking about, go read the EMB message. And those who wish to order, get to me either through MSN, sms or simply call me, by Mon. ( The dateline is not set by me. So, don't blame me for the rush.)

My internet connection these few days is weird. Sometimes can work, sometimes can't. So, now i shall blog about what happened starting from Tuesday.
Tuesday
Went to cck library. Actually I was going to lot 1 to buy some stuff, but since I was there, I might as well look into the library. And guess wad? I saw Angeline there. LOL. But, I did not dare to go up and say hi to her cos I don't really know her well. She's one of my online friends and this is the first time I saw her. The reason I was able to recognise her was cos I saw her photo in friendster last time. She said that she thought that she saw me too. Haha. XD
Wednesday
It was quite sunny when I woke up, so I was glad that the rain had finally stopped.But still, I decided to leave my house earlier cos I was afraid that it will rain again and cause a traffic jam. But it turned out that it was quite sunny, and the journey proceeded smoothly. I ended up reaching an hour early... =( When it was time, we went to change to our np uniform. Actually, I can never understand why they require us to wear full uniform in meetings. I mean, it is pointless right? Can't we juz wear half uniform or better still, mufti? Argh. And they had uniform check, which totally caught me by surprise. I didn't expect there was going to be one thus, my uniform wasn't up to the usual standard. Got three mistakes in total. And, I got into the logistics department of the exco, which was my first choice. Haha.
Now, I shall vent all my frustration here. If u don't want to read it, juz skip on to the next paragraph. Who do u think u are? The king? Do u have right to control every aspect of my life, down to what I am doing every single minute? What do u treat me as? Maid? Slave? I am ur son, for goodness sake. Can't u have more trust and faith in me? Do u know how stressful it is to wake up to a family like that everyday? Do u? NO, U DON"T!

Ok. Started raining again this morning. If this goes on, I don't know what will happen tml. Speaking of it, there is going to be marshalling duty for the sec 1 registration tml. Quite stupid, right? Such a thankless job. I hope there is going to be CIP hours for this. It is hard work, u know? Imagine not being able to seat down for a few hours. And worse still, wearing the np uniform under the sun makes me feel warmer, and wearing it in the rain, makes it quite heavy. This is due to the material of it. I sure hope tml's weather is going to be fine, no rain and not too sunny. I know I can keep complaining, but hey, this is my blog. If u don't like it, beat it.

Hey people...
Guess I was feeling much better today. That is cos I took a long long walk in the rain juz now. Therefore, I am totally drenched right now. XD
While walking past some familiar places, memories came back to me. Both pleasant ones and unpleasant ones. I guess I am glad that I took this walk. Cos it is during this walk, that I came to a conclusion after a few days.
Someone once said to me, "Stop thinking about the past. Move on, my friend.". Well, come to think of it, it sounds quite right to me now. I mean, there is no point thinking about the past if u can't change it. I might as well look forward instead of backward. This is juz like no point crying over spilled milk. Life still goes on. Time waits for no man. So I guess I should juz move on with life. XD
Oh yeah. Forgot to add this yesterday. I saw Chong Chen working in Popular in plaza. Very surprisingly, he still recognised me. So, we basically juz said hi cos he was busy trying to help a lady find some school textbooks. LOL. For those who don't know who Chong Chen is, he is a senior of mine in NPCC. He will be moving on to junior college next year. Very hardworking, isn't he?
It started raining again as I was typing this post. The weather these few days are very weird. Kept raining and raining. I wonder if there is a hole in the sky. Haha.

I AM GOING CRAZY!
TOTALLY!
They treat me as a dead man. They keep quarelling like they own the whole block. And they have been going on for the whole day. The whole bloody day.
And this totally broke my fragile happiness. Note that the phrase "fragile happiness" is coined by me. It juz means those type of slight happiness that temporarily cover one's sadness. Ok, I know I am not good at defining words. But u guys should sort of know what I mean.
The happiness came from me going out to buy some stuff today. Bought a new pair of sports shoe to replace my old one, which is quite worn out. I saw a pair of shorts that I like, so I bought that too.
And the sadness, oh well...
Oh yea. I would like to say a big big THANK YOU to those who tried to cheer me up. Thanks to u all, I am feeling better already. Don't worry for me. I am fine. Juz ignore me if I am gloomy these few days. I will be back to my old self soon.

To her, I will like to say a few words.
Thank you for the past 112 days. I really enjoyed the moments I spent with u. Really really do. U might also want to know that during these few months, I took this whole thing seriously. I am sorry that u have to go. May u find ur true happiness. If I remember correctly, I still owe u a birthday treat next year. I am also sorry to cancel it, but after thinking for some time, I thought that the atmosphere will be very weird if I were to treat u. Pls understand...

I am back! XD
Haha. Did anyone miss me? LOL.
Actually, I was back at about 0815 today, but I decided to rest first.
Erm. Don't think I am gonna go into every single detail of my trip though. I think I will bore u to death. Instead, I will juz do a brief summary.
So, Beijing 2008. Their biggest event so far. Seriously speaking, if they want to do a good job in 2008, they gotta buck up a lot. Their service everywhere was super super slow. Even collecting air tickets require us to stand there for like more than half an hour? In Singapore, this could be done in about 15 min... And, the people there. They could be quite selfish and rough at times.
Other than those, the trip was generally quite good. I like some parts, like haggling over an article, even though it is only a difference of S$2. Haha. Best of all, was the amusement park and skiing! Woo hoo! Their amusement park was very very big. It is split into 6 different sections with different themes. And, the roller coasters rock! Snow skiing was fun too! Cos the weather was not cold enough, they had to make artificial snow and lay them on a gentle slope. After paying about 110 RMB for each person, we started practising skiing. Quite fun. Not sure when I can do it again.
That said, we didn't see much snow. =( There was a little on the seventh day. But that was enough. The scenery was so beautiful. XD
And, the great wall of china. I climbed up!!! XD And I was the first! LOL.
Bought a number of stuff, though not a lot, cos some things are quite expensive even in their market.
Ok. Gonna stop now. Otherwise I will juz keep going on and on. Getting tired too cos of the midnight flight. I ended up sleeping in the plane only a little cos I was watching movies in the plane that I didn't get to watch, such as Step Up and Monster House. I also watched some movies that I forgot a little, such as POTC.
Other stuff now. Due to some unknown changes in the class system, I got into 3D. Some of my friends are coming with me too, like Clement.
And there is the Unit AGM on 20 Dec. It is some sort of ExCo meeting, I guess. And I think they are going to announce who got into which department and such.

I know this is rather short notice but I will be going overseas soon. If i am not wrong, I mentioned a little last time. This is juz to remind u all that I will not be in Singapore from 6 Dec (afternoon) to 14 Dec (morning).
So, please don't call me during that time. A good estimate will be 1pm onwards for tomorrow and about 6am on 14 Dec. U can sms me, but I will only reply when I get back as I will be leaving my phone at home in case I lose it on the way. Based on past experiences, I guess I will switch off my phone though as I don't think the battery can last that long. But I can assure u that the moment I get home, I will switch on my phone to check for messages.

There juz have to be idiots in this world who will want to steal my shoes.
I don't understand. Why does he want to steal my shoe? I mean, if he stole other things like handphones or wallets, I can understand why he stole. But why will he want to steal my shoes?
Shoes!
Firstly, he can't sell it to gain money. Secondly, he may not be able to fit into my shoe. Thirdly, that pair of shoes is quite dirty. Lastly, there are some other shoes which are even more ex than mine. Why, why, why?!?!
Note that though I used the word "he", I don't know who stole it. So, I can't safely say that it must be a "he". Whoever that person is, he/she is a pathetic bloody idiot asshole.
Luckily I brought slippers there. If I didn't, does that mean I have to walk home barefooted??? Crap, crap CRAP!!!
And cos of this, I am in no mood to blog about the chalet now. Absolutely no mood. My parents' reactions are making things worse. They juz push the blame to me, saying that I am so careless etc etc... But can I help it? NO!
Maybe u guys will think that I am exaggerating over a pair of shoes. But, that shoe is not cheap. It is from Adidas. And, I begged so long for that pair of shoes. I even went to change the shoe laces to make it nicer. But now, it is gone. Forever.

Firstly, he can't sell it to gain money. Secondly, he may not be able to fit into my shoe. Thirdly, that pair of shoes is quite dirty. Lastly, there are some other shoes which are even more ex than mine. Why, why, why?!?!
Note that though I used the word "he", I don't know who stole it. So, I can't safely say that it must be a "he". Whoever that person is, he/she is a pathetic bloody idiot asshole.
Luckily I brought slippers there. If I didn't, does that mean I have to walk home barefooted??? Crap, crap CRAP!!!
And cos of this, I am in no mood to blog about the chalet now. Absolutely no mood. My parents' reactions are making things worse. They juz push the blame to me, saying that I am so careless etc etc... But can I help it? NO!
Maybe u guys will think that I am exaggerating over a pair of shoes. But, that shoe is not cheap. It is from Adidas. And, I begged so long for that pair of shoes. I even went to change the shoe laces to make it nicer. But now, it is gone. Forever.
