Oh well, so much has been said about the class spirit of S7F and I think it's time I chip in a comment or two.

1. It is hard to change the seating arrangement. I pondered over this for a night and I came up with this simple analogy (not metaphor). Imagine a group of girls (or guys, if you insist) walking happily towards a classroom and then suddenly, each one of them proceeds to sit at each corner of the room. TOTALLY weird right? It's like common sense tells you that they would not purposely separate themselves. Today was an exception because in my opinion, most people were forced to do it. Give it a week or two, like kenler said, things will start reverting back. And besides, it's not just our class.

2. Face it, girls and guys can never understand each other fully even if they are forced to sit together for a month. And besides, we are talking about girls and guys who just came out of their monk/nun schools. Most of these people had spent at least 4 years in an environment that is totally theirs so to speak. Thus, many of them are afraid of speaking to the opposite sex. Either that, they just can't find a common topic to talk about.

3. Most guys would not dare to talk too much to the girls. It's almost like a herd instinct. I mean, if a guy and girl get along really well with each other, in other people's eyes, it just means 2 things - either they are already in a relationship or that they are flirting with each other. I am guilty of making such assumptions at times too. Before you start calling me an asshole, think through first and I would bet you once had this mentality too. And so, with this mentality, most people would be afraid to even venture out of their comfort zone. Personally, I would not get too close to any girl, just in case something similar to the one in term 2 happens again.

4. Certain things, no matter how hard you try to remedy, would not change for the better unless opportunities come along. Sometimes, gaps can widen even further when you try to do something about it. It's just like playing a match of basketball. When your team is losing, it would actually be good to play normally and not try extra hard to score baskets. Sometimes you end up screwing yourself up by giving away balls to the opponents. Instead, you should wait for opportunities and score when you have the chance.

Okay, I have said what I thought of the above issue. Feel free to flame me if you want. I would actually be interested to know what some of you think. After all, different people have different opinions.

On a last note, I am not that shy with girls. It's just that I don't talk a lot in the first place. Of cos, there are other factors as well lah, but that one I shall not say. Back to econs now...

Hmm I just realised I haven't been blogging since damn long ago. So erm, today I shall post something lol.

School sucks seriously. How I wish I am still in holidays now. During holidays, I can get wake up whenever I want, play whenever I want, mug whenever I want (if I even bother to), sleep whenever I want and go out and come back whenever I want. Now, life has come back to the SAME OLD routine. Wake up, go school, study, go home/cca, do tutorials, sleep and wake up again. Weekends are not much better either.

Got back 2 blocks papers so far. 70 for chem and 69 for math. Yea, I know. Don't mention my math marks to me. Somemore is 70 - 1 cos I didn't write the +C for indefinite integrals. Damn it. Damn it. Damn it.

Ok to admit I am damn bored now haha. Did my chem prac just now then now don't feel like doing anything le haha. Before I end off, here's something for you guys. Something simple yet caught my attention when I saw it.
