Another quote here:

Trust is like a vase... once it's broken, though you can fix it the vase will never be same again.

If you gave someone a job to do but yet, you don't trust the end result, I can only just say that you have absolutely no trust for the people you gave the job to. And of cos, this is makes absolutely no sense to me cos I can never trust back the person who doubted me.

Many times in life, we tend to look at things from our own viewpoints and only want the end result to be what we want. In trying to achieve this, we often try to come up with several reasons why things had not happened in our way. To me, these "reasons" are just "excuses".

There's no point in having the Cabinet if the President of Singapore can just make his own decisions. Similarly, there's no point in coming up with "possible reasons" why someone you favour failed a test even though you had entrusted the job of assessing to another group of people. Again, trust.

Louis Nizer - “When a man points a finger at someone else, he should remember that four of his fingers are pointing at himself.”

Guatama Buddha - “There is nothing more dreadful than the habit of doubt. Doubt separates people. It is a poison that disintegrates friendships and breaks up pleasant relations. It is a thorn that irritates and hurts; it is a sword that kills.”

Moral of the story: Always always double-check first before you point a finger at someone and have doubts about his capabilities.

Ok. The same old topic again. Mobile phones = cancer risk. Take a look at this video:

http://sg.video.yahoo.com/watch/3157139/8952699

Apparently, this video was cut from some news channel on American TV not long ago.

I don't know about you guys, but for me, I don't find it much of a bother. I mean, like come on. We had been using mobile phones for so long such that it had become part of us. Everyday before we leave for work or school, the things that we will put in our pockets: wallet, keys and mobile phone. If you were to tell everyone to stop using it now because it might cause cancer, I think most people will have much difficulty adapting.

Don't believe me? Try it. Try not touching your phone at all for 1 whole week. I think most people will go crazy. So much for supposedly the most intelligient animal on this planet. Bleh.

"HARARE (AFP) - Zimbabwe, grappling with a record 2.2 million percent inflation, has introduced a new 100-billion-dollar bank note in a bid to tackle rampant cash shortages, the central bank said Saturday. "

Ok. I know it's a bit random. But seriously lah, 100-BILLION-dollar notes. Who the hell will use it in their country anyway, though their currency is super low value. Just a check on the internet. As of today, the currency conversion between SGD and ZWD is 1 : 22,363. So 100-billion ZWD is approximately 4,471,672 SGD. Hmm. Imagine everyone in Singapore just forking out 1 dollar. You get what I mean.

Okay. Don't say I am so unfeeling towards NPCC. Look to your right (maybe scroll down a bit), you would see a photo montage of my life in NPCC '05-'08.

Hmm... Guess no one would be so interested to see through the whole thing anyway. Haha.

Hmm...

Ok so I may had updated some stuff but don't expect me to post so regularly. Acaemics are getting heavier and I don't want to screw up this year. Oh well. This term is quite screwed already. Sigh...

Anyway, there's still a list of things to be done for this blog. I am thinking of having a countdown timer sort of thing. As for countdown to what, most people should know. And nope, it's not my birthday, though the dates are quite close. =D
