At the speed of time

Today was pretty much OCIP, OCIP and more OCIP. Had a dry-run in the morning, followed by practicing of dance item in the afternoon. And guess what, our item is just the second half of Apollo's fac dance haha. We removed the front parts all the way up till the stamping of feet. And as I tried really hard to recall the steps, memories flowed back into me. Suddenly I remembered how we used to come down every afternoon to practice the fac dance, how most of us don't dare to ask a girl to be our permanent partner and how high we were after POP itself. And to think 1 year had just passed by...

As I lay in bed last night, I realised how time really flies. In just a few days time, I will be leaving for Batam and when I come back, school starts in 3 day's time. And when school starts, it's back to the same old routine again. HOMEWORK! ARGH! I really need to start chionging now!

Oh well. Would probably not be blogging anymore till I come back. See ya.

A tale of a giant and a dwarf

Once upon a time, there lived a dwarf who has never left his overly-cluttered house. Everyday, he sits on his comfy little chair and worked from day to night. This went on for many many years.

One day, a giant found his way to the dwarf's house and demanded that the dwarf give up his comfy little chair. The dwarf, being plump and clumsy, was obviously no match for the gigantic giant who easily tower over him. Without hesitation, he jumped out of his seat and ran to hid in a corner.

Meanwhile, the giant tried to fit into the little chair but failed. However, just as he was about to give up, he had a brainwave. He dismantled the whole chair and built it in such a way that it fitted him. Pitying the dwarf, he let the dwarf stay in his own house and they lived happily ever after. Erm, maybe not quite, cos the dwarf has to sit in a corner everyday and of cos, he couldn't work at all. Oh well, you get the idea.

***

Ok lame story. But actually, the dwarf in my story is my old, CRT TV set and the giant is actually a new 42-inch flat-screen TV set. The TV set of cos sits on top of a TV console and not a comfy little chair but I did not dismantle the TV console. But yeah, there was much shifting of stuff to make way for this giant. And now, it sits proudly on the TV console while the old TV sits solemnly in a corner, awaiting its destiny. Next step: Try to get used to the new TV.

Was watching the Grand Finale of Singapore Idol on it just now. Damn cool (yes, I know I am a bit suah koo =.=). Anyway, Sezairi won. Though I don't really support anyone, both my sisters are Sylvia fans. They tried to convert me into a Sylvia fan though. But oh well. I just thought it might be more interesting if there's, for once, a female Singapore Idol.

Pretty much nothing happened today. Just the usual stuff and more chionging of homework. Maybe I should had gone for the class Genting trip. They seemed to be having fun there, according to Joy's tweets. But then, I wouldn't have time to finish up my work before Batam and worse, I would miss my final briefing on Tuesday. Oh well. Maybe next time =(

Great party last night! Thanks 7F! This is definitely one of the best Christmas Eve I ever had. =D

Merry Christmas Everyone! Enjoy yourself!

And on Christmas day itself, I shall not rant about anything but instead, let us soak ourselves in the festive spirit. Though it's a bit old, but this song is my favourite Christmas song anytime.

Ok just saw this on Twitter.

We forget 80 percent of what we learn everyday, which may include this fact you just read.

Hmm kinda made me wonder what we go to school for. And it does not help that most of us don't even listen much in the first place.

Oh well. Back to homework and maybe CCA stuff. What a bore.

Yay finally finished the blue Math booklet! =D That's like a heavy load off my mind. I know it's not much as compared to the total amount of homework but then, it's a miracle that I even started on homework. Usually, I wouldn't start till like the last week, but it's different this time round. If I don't start now, I don't think I can finish on time. For those who haven't started, all the best! Vectors and S&S2 are real hard!

What's left (in order of importance):

1. Math Tutorial 8
2. GP Issues & Ideas
3. Bio Revision Worksheet
4. Econs (whatever there is)
5. Chem Revision Worksheet

Tell me if I missed out anything!

Ok shall worry about that when I get back from my holidays haha. Bye people. Will be out of town from 7th to 15th. See ya and don't miss me =D

Before I go off, a new song from JJ! Nice nice!
