First day of school

Feeling so sian now...
Firstly, my class this year is a very very very very very very very nerdy class. U might say I am biased. But, I think everyone knows in their mind that most ppl in my class are those type of nerds and anti-social ppl. Of cos, not all are like that. There are some of my close friends going with me too and I know that they are not muggers. =D 2B'06 rocks on, guys!
Next, juz received news that I am NOT selected for NPDP'07. Totally crap. For guys who don't know what it is, it is NPCC Day Parade. It is held every year and only about 10 students from each unit is allowed to join as participants. Some schools have even less, such as Nanyang, which always send about 2 only. And, it is better still if u got into GOH, which only Gold units can go in. HCI is one of the gold units, fyi.
It is very important to me cos each cadet can only have one chance to go, which is at sec 3. The only exception is the ExCo chairman, which can go at sec 4 too. But I know myself I can never be one. So, I was hopng that I can participate in sec 3.
BUT.
I am not selected...
So crap. All my dreams are gone now. I guess I am juz too lousy. Prerhaps I should juz throw away my Sergeant rank. What's the point of being one of the first batch of Sec 3 to pass the Sergeant test if I can't even qualify for it? (There's another round of testing at HTA.)
People like Clement have the chance to go, but he opted out. For me, I didn't even have the chance...
If any of u think that I am trying to act self-pity here, sorry then. No one understands how important this thing is to me anyway. It is juz like competitions for other CCAs. It will make u proud that you have been through it.
