My terrible ordeal with the MSN virus had juz ended. Or has it?
But at least it seems that my com is ok now. I asked a few people and they said I am not sending virus links anymore.
By the way, if u don't know what I am talking about, here are some things about how the virus work.
Firstly, the person infected with the virus will spread the virus through MSN. He will send u something like this. "rofl @ you, http://(random)". If u happen to be as dumb as me, u will juz click it and there goes ur com. The virus will proceed to block certain programs. For me, it blocked Zonealarm, system restore, AVG and the internet. If u are lucky, u can still use the internet, as seen from some of my friends. I badly needed the internet so I had to solve it.
Thus, I went to do some internet research (on my laptop) and after almost 2 days of seaching, my hard work paid off. I discovered this webbie, http://yandao.com. The program worked! XD OMG. I think the creator of the program is a Singaporean or someone near this region, judging by his posts and links. If I happen to meet the person, I think I will kiss him. LOL. Don't get me wrong. I am not gay. I am juz exaggerating. Hahahaha.
Basically, the program will search ur hard drvie and display a list of suspected viruses. Juz select them all and delete them. Then scan ur computer for viruses and spywares with all ur programs. Reboot ur com and ur com is cured. At least mostly loh. I think to be on the safe side, I will scan the com whenever I am free. That is cos I think the virus downloaded other viruses into my com.
Yipee! To everyone out there, spread the word. Make sure everyone is aware of this ultra clever (I have to admit that) virus. If they are already infected, make sure they know of such a cure. If the cure doesn't work, then I also don't know le. I think there are probably some other cures out there which I can't be bothered to read now that my com is cured. Hah.
To talk a bit on other stuff, kian fong did the siao thing today. HE SCORED FROM THE SLIGHTLY BEYOND THE HALF-COURT LINE!!! Wth. He's zai man...
Ok. I think I better go off now. The virus cost me lots of time. I need to finish my homework. Bye!
