Wow. So many things happened in the past few days and I really don't know where to start with. Hmm... How about starting with PDP? Hah.
Sunday (3 June 07)
Sunday was the actual day of Police Day Parade. Behind it was about 10 trainings and several scoldings. But still, it's quite worthwhile bah. Hah. The bus reached Singapore Indoor Stadium at around 0830 if I remember correctly. After training for quite a bit, we went to have our lunch. It was not bad lah, the lunch. Better than what I will expect from NPCC-provided food, or in this case, SPF-provided food. After some stoning and inspirational talks by several people, it was finally time for the actual parade! The feeling was like totally omg. I guess cos it was cos the rest of the contingents were all police officers except for us and hence, we feel a certain pride for ourselves. Once the parade was over, most of us were smiling though we are quite tired. Stay cheerful no matter what. XD
Monday
UGBC prelims round. UGBC stands for Uniformed Groups Bowling Championships. It's organised by HCI NPCC and this is the third year running le. For some reason, I was called down to help as a lane marshal. The name may sound nice, but what we did were to just stone there and maybe interact a bit with the participants. Seeing so many balls being rolled pass me, I was like wanting to bowl also. Sigh... Oh yah. They gave us a tag and I had my name on it. The picture is in my phone. Hah.
Tuesday
FREE. And I slacked at home. d=
Wednesday
First day of unit camp. After some crap talk and splitting into groups, the activities started. First up was ice breakers like Whacko. Kinda lame. Never mind. Next was lunch! Lunch was quite good lah. Lol. After that was team building games, where I am one of the station masters. My game is a modified version of volleyball. I found it a bit crappy when I came up with the idea but surprisingly, some groups said it was fun. 0.o But anyway, after that was sports activities where we played street soccer, field soccer and table tennis. We lost at all these 3 games simply cos we don't have enough people who know how to play. Dinner was survival cooking where I ate half-raw instant noodles and cold canned food. Have to get used to it. Hah. At night, we had some sort of treasure hunt which was made difficult as it was quite dark and as you know, the school isn't that small also. Just when we thought we could rest, we got another scolding from Mr. Tan. Sigh...
Thursday (today)
Morning jog and breakfast. Nothing much to say. Bunk inspection was stupid. It's always us, the sec 3s, who got scolded loh. So damn unfair lah. We have to standardise between all squads the way we put our stuff though we are in differecnt rooms. And how are we supposed to know how they arranged their stuff. And we got screwed for not taking charge though we are the senior squad. So crappy lah. And when we reported back, we again got scolded by Ms. Kala for being late. As if it's our fault that they held us back. Next up was hiking at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. It was more of a tour than a hike loh. Sian... After that, we came back to school and had lunch. Another set of games came up, which didn't lift up our spirits anyway. Sports activities were next. This time, my group owned in basketball and captain's ball. Basketball was kinda bad. Sec 2s, just because I scored a bit doesn't mean you can tackle me like siao right??? I am not trying to show off here. There are other people who are more pro than me. I am just not happy with your behaviour loh. For captain's ball, felix keep niao-ing me cos I kept scoring. He said that if I don't stop, he won't give me an ExCo position. LOL. After dinner, about 6 of us, including me left cos we have LMSC tml. Guys, it's not our fault that we are leaving... Mr Tan force us de. So sorry... And that is why I am typing away here now. Hah.
Upcoming plans for next few days
Tomorow --> LMSC
Sat/Sun --> Ren Ci Food Fest (haven't settle date yet)
Monday --> LMSC (continued)
Tuesday --> Training
Wednesday --> PK course
Thursday --> PK course (continued)
Friday --> UGBC finals (helping out again)
I guess I better go rest now. Bye!
