Ok. Just randoming around here.
Michael Phelps just won his 8th Olympic Gold Medal earlier on. And just as what the TV commentary said, "he's the best swimmer the world had ever seen".
Bolt from Jamaica just smashed the world record for the 100m track event last night. Hmm. The world's two fastest men, one on land and the other in the water.
Not forgetting Team Singapore, our paddlers are battling it out for the Gold Medal tonight at 7.30pm. Do remember to catch it! Even PM Lee is anxious, as seen from him postpoing his English version of the National Day Rally to tomorrow night. Of cos, Silver is already good enough. However, winning the Gold will really be the biggest upset for this Olympic Games, since the opponents are China.
Whichever the result, it will certainly be the FIRST ever time that the Singapore flag is being raised at a medal ceremony at the Olympic Games. Tan Howe Liang might had won a Silver in weightlifting in 1960 but the Singapore Flag was only adopted in 1965. Go Go Team Singapore!
