Ok. As of now, there's still about 15.5 days left to Passing Out Parade (POP). Hmm. That's around 2 weeks?

Just a short recap for my NPCC life...

Sec 1 --
Came in after about 2 months into school term. NCOs were Jonathan, Chan Keet, Jian Wei. Nothing much I can remember from that year, except for the Bishan Park cleaning thing where we got CIP hours for stoning around. Haha. First badge I ever got was the Total Defence (Bronze) and first promotion to LCP in Nov. 3rd class drill was also obtained in that year.

Sec 2 --
NCOs were Wilson, Ying Hao, Wei Lun and Shuo Yan. First experience with kayaking and fell in love with it right away. Hah. Obtained 1-star certificate. One of the toughest years I must say, especially the Sec 2 Training Camp where torture was the norm. Promoted twice in that year, CPL in June and SGT in October (according to CPMS). Took part in 2 parades, Police Day Parade 2006 and Singapore Youth Festival Opening Ceremony 2006. Was in the school NDP GOH and carried the super heavy Mark-4. Missed out on the Adventure Training Camp (ATC) due to Hand-foot-and-mouth Disease, which I will come to regret later.

Sec 3 --
One of the busiest years. NCOs were Chuan Khim, Jonathan, Jeremy, Jasper. Right from the start of the year, we were very much involved in ExCo Work, usually saikang (of cos). June was much worse. I can still vividly remember how many times I have to force myself to wake up to go to school for NPCC stuff. It was quite terrible and of cos, I sort of neglected my studies. Didn't do very well for the whole year and it did not help that I was in 3D.
Attended ATC that year and also obtained 2-star kayaking, much to the expense of my academics again. The green drill badge was also "upgraded" to the yellow one as I passed my 2nd class drill. Obtained SSG rank in July. Took part in 2 parades, Police Day Parade 2007 and NPCC Annual Parade 2007. Was again in the school NDP GOH and carried fake M-16. Did not take part in the real NDP cos like I said just now, my results were screwed. PIR results came out after June Holidays and I had to start planning for the then Sec 4 Squad's POP. After that things slackened off and I began to study more, improving my results by a little in the EOYs. Left for OEV Hong Kong in Nov, came back to help in SOO planning, then flew off to BSC again in Dec. One of the best years, I must say.

Sec 4 --
Obtained 1st class drill (red colour one) about a week after I came back from BSC. Nothing much happened actually. There was Sec 4 ATF, which was quite fun. Took part in Campcraft Comp and I can still remember the weekly Sat training from 9am to 4pm (did I get it wrong?). Obtained a 19th and 95th position which did not meet our expectations but nevertheless, we were glad that we did our best. ARD again, involved much planning and I missed on the main courses as I had to go out and buy more drinks. >.< June was much more okay this time round. UGBC, PIR, etc. After that nothing much until now, where the ExCo results had just been fully released. Time to dump everything onto the Sec 3s. XD

Of cos, there's still my current Sec 1 Squad, which I will always remember. =D
